I'm grateful for having time with my daughters to do art projects. Kaitlyn went to Edru Skating Rink this past weekend and came home with a heart shaped bottle as a "prize". Not sure what kind of prize that was supposed to be. But as I looked at it, I remembered the hours I spent with my friends making "sand art". Its really "salt art". You take salt, rub chalk against it to color it, then layer different colors in nice bottles.
I decided to turn off the TV tonight and have my girls try it. They both did great! We had fun together and now we have the beautiful bottles displayed in our living room. It was a good night. :)
