Unfortunately, I can't even blame this weight gain on having kids. I had kids and then lost weight (not all of it, but some) and then gained it back. This weight is due purely to bad eating habits (mostly crap food from the holiday season that started at Halloween), lack of exercise, and getting older (yes, my metabolism has started to slow).
So, this morning I took one step in the direction to being able o get in my jeans again. I woke up at4:30 am to workout. And it really wasn't bad at all! I plan to go again tomorrow morning. And then eventually sticking to my Nutrisystem diet that I already invested in just before Thanksgiving.
Slow and steady may not win the race by burning calories as fast as possible, but hopefully slow and steady will allow me to eventually FINISH the race.
